Ľubomír Ďurček’s situational art commented on social relations after the crushing of the Prague Spring and the ruin of hopes for a “socialism with a human face”. In one of his works he visited acquaintances of his and simply stood silently outside their doors with his mouth stuffed with newspaper editorials from the official press of the time, gazing fixedly into the eyes of the person opposite.
