“The selected monochrome originated by compressing a photo of a picture of a camera shooting space. Transformation into a particular tone within the RAL colour chart was carried out by means of the weighted average of this record. The concept interconnects digital technologies with expanded painting. The attributed tone was then applied and mixed with a retarder and emulsions prolonging the process of drying on a PVC banner complying with demanding conditions of the work with acrylic and oil colours in an out-of-studio environment. The catcher was confronted with various time and light specifications, based on which it changed its colour. The length was limited by the time duration of the exhibition. The process was recorded.

The project was a direct continuation of previous outputs and realisations. It is a platform, a probe generated by the city landscape surrounding – its ambience and influence. Affecting factors occur in genuine processes of nature’s courses of action (release and landing of natural elements), but also through impacts resulting from human activities in nature. The carriers and their material execution are subject to specifications of the selected locations, however, are not strictly limited by formal rules; they are rather liquid, lively areas, paintings. It is mainly about creation of an active area which can be functional in relation to the process of capturing a reflection.” R. S.
