The Model of the City was originally created as part of a concept for Osamu Okamura's educational urbanism book City for Everyone, but several site-specific variations have been created. 

Ours, for example, includes a reference to Alex Mlynarcik's 1972 event Eve's Wedding, which is reminiscent of Fuller's Peasant Wedding. There are also Július Koller and Ľubomír Ďurček hanging from a tree as part of their Tree Cultural Situation (U.F.O.) action, or Ján Budaj with the Temporary Society of Intensive Experience blocking a narrow alley in the centre of Bratislava.
