The series of four installations – action endurance rituals on precisely beforehand chosen places in a natural terrain, is characterised by subjectivity of each of the four works. Viktor’s body seems the same in each of the “performances”, however, it is always somehow different. The viewer of the work can come to a feeling that Viktor is fixed into the given environment forever; that he has always been there, and will be. The quartet of works talks about fixation, immobilisation as impossibility of free move and feeling of freedom. At the same time, it testifies about eternity and timelessness, about everlasting relatedness of a human to nature, countryside, environment. A human has always belonged to nature and will until the very end of the existence of our Earth. Every ritual lasted several hours from its preparation to termination and was physically and mentally extremely demanding and exhausting. At each work, P.O.P. tried to reach the maximum of human abilities.
